4 Highly-Rated Wedding Venues in Raleigh, NC

Finding the perfect wedding venue can be a daunting task for every couple. I did some digging for you and compiled a list of the four most highly-rated wedding venues in Raleigh, NC, so you can spend less time researching and more time preparing for the big day. Here’s what I found:

Merrimon-Wynne

Constructed in 1876 and restored to its original grandeur in 2014, Merrimon-Wynne has quickly become one of the most popular Raleigh-based wedding venues. The 5000-square-foot mansion is located on a one-acre estate in the heart of downtown Raleigh.

If you have your wedding at Merrimon-Wynne, you have complete use of the house and grounds from 10 am to 11 pm, and an on-site wedding rehearsal a day or two before the wedding. The venue includes several locations to host the wedding ceremony and a separate reception area, as well as two large, separate bridal and groom suites with complimentary drinks. Merimon-Wynne offers Seating for 200 guests and complimentary lawn games for guests.

The Stockroom at 230

In the heart of downtown Raleigh, The Stockroom at 230 is located on the second floor of the Carolina Trust Building, constructed in 1902. The combination of hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, lattice ceilings, and large glass windows create a charming, rustic atmosphere.

A wedding at The Stockroom at 230 includes twelve hours of exclusive use of the venue before the wedding date and a wedding rehearsal. This venue has a seating room for up to 175 guests and a standing reception capacity of 275 guests, and both elevator and stair access. The Stockroom at 230 also offers two on-site bridal and groom dressing suites. The cost to rent this venue for a day ranges from $3000-$7,000.
